You asked, we listened! We understand that many of you work with Azure, so we’ve made it easier for you by adding the Azure OpenAI models. With this integration, you can now utilize powerful models like GPT-4, GPT-4 Mini, and GPT-4o.

To connect Azure OpenAI to Excel:

  1. Go to “Plans”
  2. Select “Edit Plan”
  3. Choose “Azure”
  4. Enter your API Key and Endpoint URL
  5. The model will switch automatically

How to get your API Key and Endpoint URL:

  1. Visit the Azure Portal.
  2. Go to the “Home” page.
  3. Navigate to the ā€œAzure OpenAIā€ section.
  4. Select the ā€œDevelopā€ tab to access your API Key and Endpoint URL.

As you may have noticed, weā€™ve streamlined our add-in by removing GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 models. Through our research, we identified the most efficient and accessible models for working with different use-cases:

  • ChatGPT-4o (omni) ā€“ perfect for a wide range of functions with up to 1,500 cells.
  • ChatGPT-4 Turbo ā€“ designed to handle tables with more than 1,500 cells.
